Hi, I'm Amanda — an equine photographer, lifelong equestrian, and the person behind Buck It Equine.

Horses have been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. What started as a childhood passion quickly grew into a world of riding, showing, and spending countless hours at the barn. At 14, I picked up a camera for the first time, and it didn’t take long for those two worlds to merge.

Although my path initially led me into the legal field, earning a degree in Criminal Justice and spending nearly a decade working as a state and federal paralegal, the horse industry never stopped calling me back. In late 2022, I made the leap to pursue photography full-time.

Today, my focus is creating honest, story-driven imagery for riders, trainers, and equine businesses. I’m devoted to producing work that feels real, thoughtful, and true to your experience.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me traveling to Puerto Rico with my fiance, spending time with my two rescue pit bulls, enjoying a skinny marg with tableside guac, reading, listening to rap music, or watching true crime documentaries.
